Our board of directors provides oversight of the company’s affairs and hold us accountable to the company’s strong corporate governance practices, serving as the custodian of the values and ethical standards that guide our company every day. Mr Chandy Kusuma is our Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Chandy Kusuma was appointed as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of our Group in July 2017. His responsibilities include making major corporate decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of our Company and acting as the main point of communication between management and the Board.

Mr Kusuma began his career with our Group in September 2009 as a Business Development Manager at PT Tene Capital, and has held various management positions within our Group, including as Chief Executive Officer of Enerfo Pte. Ltd. since November 2014, a position he still holds presently. He is also currently President Commissioner of PT FKS Food & Ingredients, a position he has held since June 2015, and was a Commissioner of PT Tereos FKS Indonesia Raya Anyer Cigading between July 2015 and April 2021, where he was responsible for the monitoring and supervision of management and all business activities. Mr Kusuma graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Pepperdine University, United States in 2007.

Mr Kusumo has more than 20 years experience in the automotive, financials services, management consulting, and consumer retail sectors, with the last three years in food and agriculture industry. Prior to joining the Company, Mr Kusumo was employed by PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk., an automotive trading and financial services company in Indonesia from December 2013 to November 2018 where his last held position was Managing Director. Between June 2006 and November 2013, he held a number of managerial roles within the GE Group, first as Manager, Business Development of PT GE Finance, then as Manager, Business Development of GE Money Southeast Asia and finally as Vice President, Business Development of GE Capital Asia Pacific Ltd. based in Singapore. Mr Kusumo was a management consultant with SKHA Consulting Indonesia from August 2005 to May 2006 and began his career at Delphi Electronics & Safety based in Indiana, United States, as an electrical hardware engineer where he was employed from February 2001 to August 2004.

Mr Kusumo graduated in 2005 with a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2000 from Purdue University, United States.

Mr Ferdinand Sutanto is our Chief Financial Officer. Mr Sutanto joined the Group in March 2020, holding the concurrent position of Head of Business Development of PT FKS Multi Agro TBK, where he worked closely with management to identify new business opportunities and enhancements of existing operations and Director in the Group CEO’s Office in the Company, where he worked closely with the Group CEO on strategic direction and key business development activities of the Group. Mr Sutanto has over 12 years of strategy and corporate finance experience as well as three years of experience in the food industry. 

Prior to joining the Group, Mr Sutanto was a Senior Advisor of PT Diamond Food Indonesia TBK, between January 2019 and January 2020, where he advised the executive management on their listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Between January 2017 to September 2019, Mr Sutanto was a founding partner of PT Media Digital Alacarte, a technology company with a focus on the hospitality and lifestyle industry.  He was a manager with Bain & Company (Singapore) between August 2013 to September 2016 and an Associate with Quvat Capital/Principia Management Group, an Indonesian-focused private equity fund. 

Mr Sutanto obtained his Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2013, and graduated from the University of British Columbia, Canada with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering with Distinction in 2008.  

Ms Sylvia Liu was appointed the Chief Administrative Officer of FKS Group in 2018. In 2012, Sylvia joined our Group as the Director of Treasury and Administration, where she oversees capital and cash management, cash forecasting, management of investment portfolios, and banking relations as well as the overall day-to-day operations of FKS Group. She plays a key role in the Group’s financial planning, risk management, stakeholder management as well as human capital management.

Sylvia began her career at the Singapore’s Inland Revenue Authority and has over 25 years of experience in senior investment advisory roles with global private banks, including Citibank, HSBC, and Bank of Singapore. She holds a Diploma in Business from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and a Diploma in Banking from the Institute of Banking and Finance.

Ms Julie Bay is our Head of Corporate Finance and Financial Controller of the Group. She is responsible for managing corporate reporting and investment projects for the Group, as well as overseeing finance and accounting operations. Ms Bay has more than 25 years of experience in corporate accounting and financing, including over 12 years with Cargill Group, holding various leadership roles such as Financial Controller, Manager (Business Intelligence and Financial Analysis), Integration Manager (Competitive Excellence Team Lead), and Business Development and Project Manager (Financial Planning and Analysis Group. 

Ms Bay began her career as an auditor at KPMG LLP in 1996, before joining Asia Food & Properties Pte Ltd from 1998 to 2004. She is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and a member of the Singapore Society of Financial Analysts. Ms Bay holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. 

Mr Qwee Eng Leong joined FKS Group as the Group Head of Risk in 2015 where he oversees the development and implementation of risk management strategy. Prior to joining FKS, he was the Regional Head of Market Risk for British Petroleum from 2007 to 2014. He started his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore from 1999 to 2007.  

Mr Qwee holds a Bachelor of Business Studies in Applied Economics (First Class Honours) and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. 

Mr Eduardo Rocha is a Director of Enerfo Sugar do Brasil Ltda. Appointed as the Country Head, Brazil, he is responsible for business development in sugar and ethanol markets in Brazil and the South America region. Eduardo joined FKS Group in 2014 and brings over 25 years of sugar market experience, having previously worked at Coca Cola, Czarnikow and Armajaro. 

During his career, Eduardo has developed expertise in the areas of physical trading of both sugar and ethanol, price risk management, structured trade finance, mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate finance. Eduardo is a Harvard Agribusiness member since 2018 and he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and a Post Graduate Degree in Finance from PUC University of Rio de Janeiro.

Mr Yanuar Samron joined FKS Group since 2009. Appointed Country Head, Indonesia in 2022, he is jointly responsible for business development, charting the Group’s business strategy as well as managing the Group’s corporate affairs. Yanuar brings over 15 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, port operations and the oil and gas industry. 

Prior to joining the Group, he was with OOCL Indonesia as the Head of Transpacific Market Trade and Intel Corp as their Product Quality Lead. Yanuar graduated from the business school of Indiana University of Bloomington, United States of America.
